Kennin-ji Temple
Kennin-ji Temple is the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto. Highlights include the famous national treasure ‘Wind God and Thunder God’ painting (reproduction) by Tawaraya Sotatsu, and the grand ceiling painting ‘Twin Dragons’ by Japanese painter Koizumi Junsaku, covering 108 tatami mats.
