Daikaku-ji Temple
Osawa Pond, where Heian-period aristocrats are said to have enjoyed boating, is one of the site’s most famous features. In spring, cherry trees line the water’s edge, while in early summer and autumn, maple leaves and the Shingyo Pagoda are beautifully reflected on the Hojo Pond. Visitors can also experience sutra copying or Buddhist image tracing at the Godai-do Hall.
